Heritage Care
A legacy of care since 1987

Founded in London. Now in Bengaluru.

For nearly four decades, Heritage Care has been committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care — with particular depth in geriatric and elderly healthcare, grounded in international standards established in the United Kingdom.

Today, we bring that experience to Bengaluru through a purpose-built recovery and care centre designed to support recovery and rehabilitation, long-term assisted living and memory & dementia care — the same clinical rigour, delivered with the warmth of a home.

Our philosophy

Clinical rigour. Human warmth.

We believe geriatric and elderly care should feel like a home — not an institution. Our residents enjoy a comfortable, supportive environment where every day is centred around dignity, companionship and quality of life.

Every care plan is personalised. Every routine is considered. Every family is kept close.

Clinical leadership

The people guiding your care

Heritage Care is led by clinicians with decades of hands-on experience across India, the UK, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait — combining international standards with a deep focus on ageing well.

Dr. Aftab Ahmed

With over four decades of clinical experience spanning India and Saudi Arabia's national health system, Dr. Aftab Ahmed brings a rare depth of medical judgement to Heritage Care. His career has moved from frontline emergency medicine to senior healthcare leadership — including corporate medical directorship roles for some of India's leading organisations — giving him a comprehensive view of care that few physicians in this space can offer.

Dr. Aftab's clinical focus centres on the chronic conditions most common in older adults — diabetes, hypertension, bronchial asthma and arthritis — alongside a special interest in geriatric care. It's this combination of decades of hands-on practice and a genuine focus on ageing well that gives families the reassurance they're looking for: that their loved one's care is being guided by real, seasoned medical expertise.
